If you have children or grandchildren, you're probably searching around the Internet for answers...  Here's my take on
this:  ADD or ADHD is a condition that has been manufactured for the purpose of selling drug "solutions" for. Period.

As there are no lab tests, no x-rays, no objective ways of really diagnosing this "condition", plus it can and is
"spotted" by teachers, school nurses, school counselors, and the like (not necessary your doctor), I believe it is the
only "disease" in the history of man that can be "determined" by so many lay people.

Oh, I guess by answering a few short questions could diagnose the condition, like "fidgeting around in class", blurting
out answers before called upon, fighting with others and a number of other questions of the like that are used as the
sole method of diagnosing ADD or ADHD, resulting in the child being put on amphetamines that are so strong, they
are classified as a Schedule II drug, a class that includes cocaine, methadone, methamphetamine and other drugs
with a high potential for abuse.  They are stored under lock and key, many have Black Box Warnings, the
government's strongest warning.  These drugs are being sold on the street and are "hot" on high school and college
campuses, being snorted and shot up.

And the "incidence" of this disorder has tripled in the last 10 years, worldwide.

Hmm, I'm suspicious.  Sounds like a good case of marketing to me....

Well experts from all over the world agree.  And there is legislation throughout the US aimed at disarming this trend,
or at least giving parents the choice
not to drug their children.

I saw this coming while in practice in the mid-80's.

I had a mother bring in her child, who was diagnosed with ADD, ADHD and a mild form of autism.  She had so many
wins with Alternative Health Care that she asked if there was anything I could do with her son.  He was a bit "wild".  I
found him in the fish tank (just kidding).

At any rate, I did evaluate him and found that his diet was mostly sugar.  Breakfast cereals, soft drinks, snacks, fast
foods--they are sugar and rob the child of nutrients needed to grow up correctly.

Remember, even though our modern-day children are sophisticated, even grown-up, their nervous systems are
developing. They will develop all the way to their 20th birthday or so.

With this young child, we took him off of most sugars, supplemented him with a good source of Vitamin B1 (which will
calm almost anyone down instantly, see my link below for my
Vital B 100), checked and found that he had food
sensitivities (see my link for NuZymes below) and his adrenal glands were "tested" by the lack of good nutrition, lack
of exercise and too much sugar.

So I treated him for several weeks on a vitamin regime, Pressure Points and light chiropractic adjustments.

About three months into the program, my secretary pulled me aside and told me that the boy's mother was in a room
waiting to see me about her son and she was crying hysterically.

I sheepishly opened the door and walked in.  The mother, crying said "you don't know what you've done to my son".
Gulp.  My first reaction was "I didn't do it!".

She said, "No.  It's not bad.  My son was tested today and they said his results were normal for his age and for the
first time they saw hope".  Wow.  "Let's continue".

We kept up the program (which is outlined below).  The child definitely calmed down.  He started asking me
questions:  "Dr. Pinkus, what does this do?" or "Dr. Pinkus, how does a light bulb work?".   He was getting into
communication with the environment.

About nine months into this program, my secretary once again informed me that the mother was again crying
hysterically and waiting to talk to me.

This time she was laughing and crying at the same time.  The Children's Hospital did a follow-up examination of this 9
year old.  All of his tests were NORMAL.  He no longer had "ADD" or "ADHD"; his autism symptoms gone.

More miraculous, this young boy had been wearing Coke-bottle glasses.  He was almost legally blind.  He had his
eyes rechecked.  Vision was now 30/20, almost perfect!

OK.  Do you get the point?  What went on here?

1. A young boy was pretty "active". (Most children are).
2. He was eating way too much sugar.
3. He had food sensitivities.
4. Too much video games, TV, computer and not enough outside time.
5. Not enough sleep and basics like good water.
6. He lacked essential nutrients that growing bodies needed.
7. The physical treatments of Pressure Point and gentle chiropractic was needed (he was a forceps delivery and had
a misaligned spine).

He was not "deficient" in drugs that are so toxic and addictive, they fill up treatment centers with their victims.

Here is my starter program to increase your child's abilities using nutritional formulas I have developed:

1. Vital B 100:  Thiamine (Vitamin B1) is
the vitamin needed by the nervous system to function correctly.  My Vital B
100 has Thiamine and several other supportive vitamins to help your child have better clarity and more control of
their body.  Here is the link:
Vital B 100

2. NuZymes:  NuZymes is a multi-blend enzyme supplement that helps breakdown sugars, proteins, fats and lactose.
It is great for the child as many of these undigested foods can act as an irritant to the nervous system.  NuZymes may
also help a person slim down, as the enzymes help a person metabolize better.  Here is the link:
NuZymes

3. CalMax: Calcium and Magnesium are two minerals that are essential to a child's growth, especially their nerves,
hormones and bones/muscles.  CalMax is an all-natural formula that mixes in water, so it absorbs quickly.  CalMax
also helps a person sleep, so you can make a CalMax juice drink and give it to your child before bed.  Here is the
link:
CalMax

What You Can Do At Home:

A. Limit Sugar: Replace soft drinks, sugar drinks with good spring water.  Get good low sugar natural cereals from the
health food store.  These are often organic, no bad colorings, sugars, etc.

B. Replace cow's milk with alternatives such as Silk Milk.  Most grocery stores have Silk products.

C. Limit Video Games, Computers and TV:  Stop an hour before bed.  Limit to weekends and only an hour a day.

D. Outside Activities: Get your child some air and space!  Camps, Little League, parks, etc.  Let you children be
children
